Payment
All prices are inclusive of 15% GST, and in New Zealand Dollars. Exchange rates are available here. We accept payment by internet banking, cheque, or credit card. Full payment is due on registration to secure a place on these courses. Please register before paying.
Failure to pay the registration fee within 2 weeks of registration will result in forfeiture of your registration and the open slot will be to the next person on the waitlist.
Cancellation policy
If you wish to cancel your enrolment, you must do so in writing. Any participant who cancels more than 30 days prior to the event will be entitled to a refund of 90% of the fee. There will be no refund after this date but the participant will be able to transfer onto a future AWLS course, if such courses are available.
Disclaimer
Southland Wilderness Medicine Group Limited (“WildMed/SWMG”) may, in exceptional circumstances, cancel an event at any time. In such circumstances, WildMed/SWMG will refund the course registration fee, or you may choose to transfer to an alternative course date. Participants are responsible for their own travel/accommodation bookings and no compensation will be made for any such items should the course be rescheduled or cancelled. Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that you take out an insurance policy to cover loss of fees through cancellation of your participation in the conference; loss through cancellation of the conference; loss of international/domestic airfares through cancellation for any reason.
Liability waiver
I have read and voluntarily signed this waiver and I have agreed to assume the entire risk of loss, property damage, illness, injury or death (collectively “losses”) that I may sustain in conjunction with my participation in the SWMG course (“Course”). I understand that my participation in the Course may include participation in the following activities; [orienteering, trekking, and mountaineering [etc].
I acknowledge that there are risks inherent in the Course and that I may sustain losses as a result of participating in the Course. I voluntarily agree to assume (for myself, my representatives, heirs, assigns and next of kin) all such risks, foreseeable or otherwise, and hereby release Southern Wilderness Medicine Group Limited, the Course management team and all persons and entities connected with the Course, from any liability for any and all losses whatsoever, whatever the cause, that I may sustain. My assumption of the entire risk of any and all losses to me in the Course is intended to apply to any and all losses no matter how the loss (or losses) is (or are) caused. My assumption of the entire risk of any and all losses to me in the Course is intended to cover any loss or losses caused by a negligent act or a negligent failure to act.
I hereby certify that I have read and understand this release and that I fully accept the terms and conditions set forth herein on behalf of myself, my representative, heirs, assigns and next of kin.
